This is the second painting in a series I’ve decided to call “Circles”. I’m not sure how far that’s going to go just yet, but I have had a TON of ideas coming to mind lately to add to it.
Lately, our family has been in a transition phase in our lives. Out with the old, in with the new, so to speak. We’ve asked God for some things to happen, and we’ve received many, many confirmations recently that it will come to being really soon. A week or so ago, we had a family talk and prayer time, and one of the scriptures that came to us during that was 2 Corinthians 9:8, which reads:
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (NIV translation)
This one, which I call “Abundance”, has been on my mind for some time now, as far as the overall shape and such. But tonight, while finishing it, I changed it around some, when this scripture felt like it would just fit.
