Happy New Year!
I’ve spent the last month and a half celebrating the holidays with my family, working my tail off (both at work and at home), and wishing I had a lot more time to do the good things. For 2012, I am looking forward to really getting back to some basics in life and doing some things I haven’t done in a long time and enjoy doing.
One of those things is pursuing an even stronger relationship with our Creator. I have seen so many blessings to our friends and family over the last year! How awesome is that? All I can say is “Thank you!” and “Keep ’em coming!” The best thing about God is how He renews our lives, makes us whole and new again. He loves us and is with us always. What else do we really need? In thinking about that, I just long to take it further each day.
I also want to work on more paintings, drawings, and other projects. I haven’t taken nearly enough time to use my creativity lately. Life has been getting in the way so much lately. I’ve had a lot of images in my mind of things I want to paint or create, so now’s the time to make them a reality. Check back often for that! This isn’t just paintings or drawings, either. I’m looking at possibly doing some metal and wood working to branch out a little bit.
Finally, I’m wanting to gain more focus on different aspects in my life. I am planning for more time with all of my family. I plan to get in shape (typical New Year’s unresolved resolution). I plan to destroy our remaining debts. I plan to dig in deeper and take off running!
